Have you heard of a fruit called Persimmon? It is a popular fruit in Asian countries that are harvested in the fall. My parents have 2 persimmon trees in their yard that produces many many delicious persimmons and we're so blessed to eat as many persimmons as we want every fall.

After enjoying so many of these delicious persimmons, we still had so many of them left over and needed a way to utilize them. I decided to go to the internet to look for recipes using persimmons, and it being Halloween season and seeing all the candy everywhere, I decided to try to make a healthier version of the Fruit Roll-ups using only natural ingredients. Typical Fruit Roll-ups contain Corn Syrup as the main ingredient and has many other non-healthy items such as artificial food coloring that are not so good for you. I used the recipe courtesy of https://www.marthastewart.com/275469/persimmon-recipes. I added some cinnamon sprinkles to the recipe so it only used 4 natural ingredients: Pineapples, Persimmons, Honey and Cinnamon. And How special is it that I was able to use local honey that came from our own Dental Hygienist Megan's Bee farm?
